WALKTHROUGH-TO-PROPOSAL BID KIT

BUSINESS LICENSE

In short: one business, up to six users. You may use and edit these files for your own cleaning business. Please don't resell or share them.

1. THE KIT

"The kit" means the files in the edition you bought (Core or Complete): the bid calculator workbooks, walkthrough checklists, proposal and scope-of-work templates, the what's-included one-pager and capability statement templates, follow-up scripts and timelines, the Bid Playbook, Start Here, the RFP response checklist and the example files. It also includes any updates we send you, and this license.

If you received only the free Walkthrough Checklist (Lite), "the kit" means that file, and this license applies to it.

2. WHO MAY USE IT

One business: the company that bought the kit, including all of its locations under the same ownership.

Up to six users in that business: the purchaser plus up to five team members (employees or contractors who work for the purchaser's cleaning business). These people are the "licensed users." A larger team, or a group of separately owned companies such as franchisees, needs a separate license from the licensor.

People who only receive a finished document, such as a crew member reading a completed scope of work or a client reading your proposal, are not users and don't count toward the six.

3. WHAT YOU MAY DO

Licensed users may use and edit the kit to price bids and prepare proposals for the business's own clients and prospects. There is no limit on the number of bids, buildings or clients.

You may print blank checklists and forms as often as your business needs them.

You may send, share and publish the finished documents you create, such as completed proposals, scopes of work, price summaries, what's-included pages, capability statements and follow-up messages, to anyone, including clients, prospects, building managers and public bid portals. You keep your rights in your own information, prices, logo and other material you add.

4. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You may not resell, sublicense, share, publicly upload or otherwise distribute the kit or any part of it, including the workbooks, templates, checklists, scripts and playbook, as a tool or template, in original or modified form, to anyone outside your licensed users, whether free or paid. That includes posting the files in a template library, course, online group or marketplace, and giving them to other cleaning companies.

This license covers bids your own business prepares. Using the kit to prepare bids for other companies, for example as a consultant or a franchisor, needs a separate license from the licensor.

A proposal or scope of work that you have completed for a specific client is a finished document under section 3 and may be shared. Sharing a finished document does not give anyone permission to use or distribute the kit itself.

5. EXAMPLES, FIGURES AND SOURCES

The example buildings, companies and people are invented and labeled "Hypothetical example." Their inputs show how the method works; they are not reference values or typical results.

The figures in the kit were checked against the linked sources as of 2026. Rules and rates change, so check them every January. Production rates are public reference points, not standards. Your measured rate always overrides them.

6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

The kit is a set of planning tools and templates. It does not guarantee that you will win any contract, earn any profit or reach any income. It is not legal, tax, insurance or accounting advice. You are responsible for your prices, proposals and contracts, for checking the figures you use against the current rules in your state, and for following the wage, tax, insurance, safety and contracting rules that apply to your business.

7. NO WARRANTY

THE KIT IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, the licensor's total liability arising from the kit is limited to the amount you paid for it, and the licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost bids or lost contracts.

9. TRANSFER

You may not transfer this license, except to someone who buys your whole business.

10. TERMINATION

This license ends automatically if you breach it, and when you receive a refund for the kit. You must then stop using the kit and delete it, including any copies you made. Finished documents you created before the license ended may continue to be used.

11. NON-AFFILIATION

The kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trade association, company, publication or government agency named in its sources. Microsoft, Excel, Word, Apple and Numbers are trademarks of their owners and are named only to describe compatibility.

12. REFUNDS AND SUPPORT

30-day refund: if the kit isn't useful for your work, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
