Terms of service
Effective October 20, 2026
These terms apply when you use plainworkkits.com or buy from Plainwork Kits, the store of Arin Partners, South Korea ("we" or "us"). By buying or downloading a kit, you agree to these terms and to the license for that kit.
Our kits
Plainwork Kits sells digital downloads for small businesses: spreadsheets, document templates, checklists, guides and, for some kits, a tool that runs in your web browser. Each product page says what's included, who the kit is for and what it doesn't do.
Our kits are made for business use. By buying, you confirm that you're at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are paid once. There is no subscription. Checkout runs on Shopify, and payments are processed by PayPal. Sales tax, if any applies to your order, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Delivery
After you pay, your download link appears on the order confirmation page and arrives by email from our store. If you can't find it, check your spam folder, then email support@plainworkkits.com with your order number and we'll send it again. You can buy on your phone; open the files on a computer.
Free downloads
Some items are free, such as the Walkthrough Checklist (Lite). They are covered by the license of the kit they belong to and come with the same disclaimers as our paid kits.
Licenses
When you buy a kit, you get a license to use it. You don't buy the copyright. Each kit has its own license:
- Walkthrough-to-Proposal Bid Kit: https://plainworkkits.com/licenses/bid-kit
In short, each license lets your business use and edit the kit for its own work and share the finished documents you make with your clients, and none lets you share or resell the kit itself. If these terms and a kit's license disagree, the license controls for that kit.
Updates
If a product page says a kit includes updates, we email them free to the address you used at checkout, for as long as we sell that kit. Updated files are covered by the same license. We may also fix errors, broken links or file problems at any time.
Refunds
30-day refund: if the kit isn't useful for your work, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
Details are in our refund policy: https://plainworkkits.com/refund-policy
What our kits do and don't do
Our kits are planning tools, templates and production aids. They don't guarantee any result. That includes contracts or bids won, profit, income, inquiries, leases, commissions and time saved.
Not legal, tax, insurance or accounting advice. Where a kit includes figures, they come from public sources listed with links and dates. Rules and rates change. Check the figures you use, and confirm them with your state agencies, your insurance agent, your accountant or an attorney.
Examples are fictional. Example buildings, properties, companies, people and figures in our kits are invented to show how the kit works. Don't present them as real, and don't treat their inputs as reference values or typical results.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for how you use our kits: your prices, proposals, contracts and published materials and their accuracy, your rights to the photos and other material you add, and the laws and rules that apply to your business, including advertising, licensing, disclosure, employment, tax and safety rules.
Walkthrough-to-Proposal Bid Kit
Not a cleaning company. Built from public sources with AI; every number is linked.
- The kit is a set of planning tools and templates for pricing commercial cleaning bids. It does not guarantee that you will win any contract, earn any profit or reach any income.
- The figures were checked against the linked sources as of 2026. Check them every January. Payroll taxes, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, federal contract rules and safety rules vary by state and change often.
- Production rates in the kit are public reference points, not standards. Time your own crew. Your measured rate always overrides the references.
- The calculator works in Microsoft Excel, on Windows or Mac. We haven't tested it in Google Sheets yet. Apple Numbers isn't supported, and the workbooks contain no macros.
- The kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trade association, company, publication or government agency named in its sources.
Coming soon and waitlists
Some products on our site are marked "Coming soon" or "Join the waitlist". They aren't for sale yet. Joining a waitlist is free, doesn't reserve a price and doesn't commit you or us to anything. Plans, contents, prices and timing can change before launch, and a product may not launch at all.
Using our site
You may browse plainworkkits.com and download our free items for your own use. Please don't copy our pages, images or files to resell or give them away, and don't interfere with the site or checkout.
We may change, pause or stop selling a kit at any time. That doesn't affect your license to a kit you already bought.
No warranty
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR KITS, FREE DOWNLOADS AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a kit or to our site is limited to the amount you paid for the kit the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost bids or contracts, lost commissions or listings, or lost data.
Some places don't allow these limits. Where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Other companies' products and trademarks
Our kits work with products made by other companies, such as spreadsheet, word-processing and browser software. We don't control those products or changes to them.
Microsoft, Excel, Word, Windows, Edge, Google, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Chrome, Apple, Mac, Numbers, Safari, Firefox, Canva, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, OpenAI, ChatGPT, LoopNet, CoStar, Crexi, Shopify, PayPal and Lovable are trademarks of their respective owners. Plainwork Kits is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top. The terms in effect on the date of your purchase apply to that purchase.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most problems can be solved by email.
The rest
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, our refund policy, our privacy policy and the license for your kit are the whole agreement about your purchase.
